Open Volunteer Positions

Classroom Coordinator

Now that classroom assignments are largely finalized, we need to identify a Classroom Coordinator for each class to lighten the teacher’s load. Responsibilities include helping to plan field trips and parties, organize in-class volunteers, solicit supply donations, and plan one day in appreciation week. This is a low commitment and most of the work can be done outside school hours.

Volunteer Coordinator

Many CANS activities inside and outside the classroom require volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator helps to advertise these activities, create sign-ups on the canselementary page, and secure and organize volunteers for these events. This is a moderate commitment and most of the work can be done outside school hours.

Event Coordinator

CANS PTO funds events to celebrate our school community, and the Event Coordinator helps to plan those events and coordinate resources with help from the PTO Board and individual Event Chairs. This is a moderate commitment and most of the work can be done outside school hours.

Boosters Chair

The Boosters Chair manages logistics to support our sports and afterschool programming. This includes managing the Boosters budget, coordinating space and resources, and ideally serving as part of the PTO Board. This is a moderate commitment and most of the work can be done outside school hours.
